How to Search for Recipes

When to use search

Search is the fastest way to find a specific recipe or dish idea when you already know roughly what you want.

Steps to search for a recipe

1. Go to your dashboard at /app.
2. Select the search bar near the top of the page.
3. Type the name of a dish or an ingredient you want to use.
4. Press enter or select the search icon.
5. Review the list of matching recipes.
6. Select a recipe to open its full page.

Tips for better search results

• Try simpler or shorter terms if you get no results.
• Search by a main ingredient if you are not sure of a dish name.
• Combine search with category filters to narrow results further.

If something goes wrong

• If search returns no results, check your spelling and try a broader term.
• If the search bar does not respond, refresh the page and try again.
• If you are looking for one of your own recipes, search from My Cookbook instead.
