These terms are a product draft meant to be reviewed by a legal professional before final publication. By creating an account or using Umami Digital, you agree to them.

Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, change your password and contact us.

Free and Pro features

Free accounts can create or save up to 3 recipes and browse the full collection. Pro accounts unlock unlimited recipes, a monthly Fridge Finder allowance, and other premium features shown at checkout. Feature details and limits may change; the current limits are always visible in the app.

Subscription billing and cancellation

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. The current price and renewal date are shown before you subscribe and in your account settings. Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime in Settings; you will continue to have Pro access until the end of your current billing period.

User-created recipes

You keep ownership of recipes, photos, and notes you add. By adding them, you give Umami Digital the permission needed to store, display, process, and share them within the service. Do not upload content you do not have the right to share.

AI-generated guidance

Nori, Fridge Finder, and any AI features generate suggestions to help you cook. They are not professional dietary, medical, or food-safety advice. Always verify ingredients, allergens, temperatures, and safe handling for your own situation.

Acceptable use

• Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access another person’s account or data.
• Do not upload unlawful, harmful, infringing, or offensive content.
• Do not use automated tools to scrape, spam, or overload the platform.

Limitation of liability

Umami Digital provides recipes and cooking guidance as general information. We are not liable for food safety incidents, allergic reactions, cooking outcomes, or damages that result from following recipes or AI suggestions. Use your own judgment and follow safe cooking practices.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
